Professor Dr. Dirk Messner (Director of the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik) will illustrate and discuss the complex challenges for international, national and societal action. Following the keynote, a panel discussion with Mr Messner and Angela Köppl (WIFO), Fritz Hinterberger (SERI) and Erich Fenninger (Österreichische Volkshilfe) will look at the appropriate starting point of global sustainability at the national level.
