Married, with a grown son, an ancient aunt (a much more demanding relative than husband and son) an American half sister and a plethora of in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, Italian style.
Loves cats to distraction and feeds a number of visiting cats every morning.
Enjoys reading (none too serious novels) in English (Thrillers, historical romances, Fantasy and SF).
Would like to play cards, but is frustrated by intellectual relatives and friends who don't, so has to be content to play with a computer.
Overweight, loves to eat all the things she should not eat, starting with pizza.

born in Rome 29 May 1943

Member of the National Council of Amici della Terra (FoE Italy) and responsible for international liaisons. Among her tasks there is the monitoring of the implementation of European and International joint projects Amici della Terra take part in.

She is a competent translator from Italian into English and vice versa and many of the works she has done for Amici della Terra have been published.

She has been frequently elected in the Executive Committees of FoE International and FoE Europe. Presently she sits in the European Executive Committee

She was among the founders of Amici della Terra (1977) and one of the promoters of the first anti-nuclear referendum in Italy.
In the late 80s she was Member of the National Council for the Environment, a consultative body of the Italian Ministry of the Environment
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs employed her in the Archives of the Treaties until she took early retirement in 1981. As a trade unionist she helped to establish the chapter of the CGIL Trade Union in the Ministry and obtained a number of internal reforms for the welfare of women workers.
