scientific standing
As a matter of fact this seems to be a hole to be filled in,
but actually I try to develop specific skills to unterstand the combination of ecological and economical action. So - refering to political science - I study rational choice theories (voting process, Olson, Downs, critical mass, exchange theory, pluralism theory, political entrepreneurship, etc.). According to economics I´m engaged in competitian law, European (market) integration and last but not least evolutorian aproaches to describe processes of growth, of business cycles and of market dynamics. Above all I try to keep myself informed about current trends in ecological politics and ecological economics.

relation to SERI
practical at Wuppertal Institut für Klima, Umwelt, Energie GmbH: in the department "Stoffströme und Strukturwandel" and under leadership of Fritz Hinterberger I worked on MIT (material input tax) and dealed with the economic consequences of that fiscal instrument. The result of that work will probably be used for another analysis at Wuppertal.

engangament at SERI up to now

This should be the presumable publication of a paper of mine: it is reflecting the theory of Georgescu-Roegen and the combination of Georgescu-Roegens economical interpretation of entropy law and the Wuppertal approach of "Dematerialisierungsstrategie" respectively.

hobbies:
studying

further characteristics
fond of spending blood, Simpsons and torturing myself in sauna
