Ines Omann

CV

Ines Omann was born in 1972 in Friesach/Austria. After high school she studied environmental systems sciences and economics at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz/Austria.

1995 She studied as an Ersamus Student at the School of Economics and Management in Lund/Sweden

1997 Graduation (Ms.)

1998 research fellow at the Institute for technology and regional policy of the Joanneum Research GmbH in Graz

since 1998 Lecturer for Macroeconomics at the Karl-Franzens University

1999 research fellow at the Wuppertal Institute, Division for material flows and structural change; there she was among others responsible for the project "Work and Ecology".

since December 1999 Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the KFU, where she is doing her Ph D right now.

Hobbies

Sports (skiing, snowboarding, windsurfing...), dancing, travelling, art and culture (modern art, dance, film), traditional chinese medicine (Qi Gong, Akupuncture)

She is a member of the ESEE, the ISEE, the VÖÖ.
